The quick answer
Book a deep clean if it is your first professional clean, you have just moved in or out, the builders have just left, or the home has not had a thorough clean for a while. Book a regular clean to keep a well-maintained home at that level, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
What a regular clean covers
A regular (standard) clean is upkeep. At PureNest it covers:
- Kitchen benchtops, splashback, sink, stovetop and appliance exteriors
- Showers, baths, toilets, vanities, mirrors, tiles and tapware
- Dusting of accessible surfaces, skirting boards and light switches
- Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout
- Interior glass and sills, bins emptied and general tidying
What a deep clean adds
A deep clean includes everything above, then goes into the places a regular clean does not reach:
- Inside the oven, including racks and trays
- Inside the fridge and freezer, where emptied
- Cabinet and drawer interiors, where empty
- Limescale and grout treatment in every bathroom
- Door frames and handles, skirting board edging and extractor fan exteriors
- Window frames and tracks, vents and grilles, ceiling fans and light fittings
At PureNest the deep clean is all-inclusive: add-ons such as the oven, fridge, interior windows and carpet steam cleaning are bundled in at no extra charge.

When a deep clean makes sense
- Your first professional clean. It gets the home to a standard a regular clean can keep up.
- Moving in or out. Cupboards and appliances are empty, so every interior can be cleaned.
- After renovation or building work. Fine dust settles on every surface, ledge and track.
- A seasonal reset. Before hosting family, or once a year to catch the build-up.
When a regular clean is enough
If the home is already in good shape, a regular clean is the better value. It is quicker, it costs less per visit, and recurring plans are discounted. Weekly suits busy households, families with children or pets and homes with several bathrooms. Fortnightly suits most homes. Monthly suits light-use homes and apartments.
The usual approach: deep clean first, then regular
Most PureNest customers book one deep clean to reset the home, then move to a regular house cleaning plan to keep it that way. The deep clean deals with the build-up once, so each regular visit can focus on upkeep instead of catching up.
Not sure which you need?
A free on-site inspection settles it. A supervisor walks through the home, photographs each room and recommends the right clean, then you receive a fixed written quote. Request an inspection.
